"Craig McCoy, son of Dr. and Mrs. John McCoy, 2375 Sunset Drive, took advantage of a visit to the home of his grandparents Wednesday by opening up an orange juice stand at the corner of Juniper Street and Fifth Avenue [Escondido, California]. The super salesman used a megaphone to attract customers to his "bargain" stand. The grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Luther O. Durbin, reside at 309 E. Fifth Ave., a short distance from the intersection." [Envelope contains similar images including possibly grandmother Durbin.]

Conditions Governing Access
The Dan Rios papers are currently undergoing processing and are open for research. The department has internal documentation over what is in individual envelopes and can search for people, places, and events from 1968 - 2001 in advance of any visits so that we can ensure we have materials on hand for researchers.
