Biographical / Historical

Duck Power, published by GIs Against Facism, was an underground anti-war newspaper out of San Diego, California. The publishers noted that servicement only receive information that is favorable towards the military; as such, Duck Power aimed to cover issues of importance to members of the armed services that would not be available through other military media. It was largely concerned with the Vietnam War antiwar movement, racism in the armed forces, and the rights of soldiers and sailors.
