California State University San Marcos Special Collections serials consist of newspapers, magazines, newsletters, and similar printed publications from San Diego County and/or focused on issues and events regarding San Diego County.

The collection, created by Daniel Flores Rios, Chief Photographer, Escondido Times-Advocate and North County Times from 1968-2001, provides a visual documentation of the San Diego North County geographic region, community, and events that helped shape its history.

Printed copy of 2012 San Diego Union Tribune article "Del Mar, May 12, 1972: Something Happened Here" has been added to the file by the library.

Booklet titled with full title: "Ask a Marine: U.S.M.C. Private David Osborne Raps on the Collapse of the Armed Forces, the Fall of the American Empire and the Rise of People's Power. A Speech Made Just Before Sentencing At His General Court Martial for Desertion. Camp Pendleton, March 2, 1971." File also contains three communications by Green Machine Bookstore, two of which regard Osborne.

Sixteen folders and one binder containing materials related to the life and life celebration of Henry Rodriguez of the La Jolla Indian Reservation, as well as information about California Indians. Materials include paper, media, digitized files, and publications.
