"Escondido police officer comforts dazed Ronald Lee Griffith, 19, of 1254 N. Ivy St., Escondido [California], after auto he was driving east on Highway 78 plunged down embankment near Metcalf Street and overturned. Griffith escaped with apparently minor injuries in the accident which occurred early Tuesday. CHP [California Highway Patrol] investigated the crash." Envelope contains similar images of accident.
