"Mrs. John Edmondson Jr. displays the trophy recently received by the Junior Woman's Club in recognition of the many hours they contributed in the neighbor to neighbor cancer drive. Mrs. Edmondson is cancer chairman for the local Junior Woman's Club. The trophy will be on display for one month at Escondido National Bank." "Seemingly unimpressed at being named grand champion at Thursday's auction at the Escondido Junior Fair, was "Bull-ett," who sold for $1.45 a pound. His owner, Joleen Beljean, of San Dieguito 4-H Club, was happier." [Envelope contains additional related images.]
