This series consists of photographic negatives taken by Dan Rios and other photographers at the Escondido Times-Advocate and North County Times newspapers.

Negatives are in 35 mmm, medium, and large formats, and are black and white negatives, color negatives, and color positive film.

Scope and Contents "Moving of the earth for the new 6,000-square-foot Southwest Bank building at East Valley Parkway and Rose Street was observed Tuesday at groundbreaking ceremonies by Sidney Fox, bank president; H.R. Andrews, builder; Richard A. Lumsden of Fallbrook, architect; and Kenneth D. Ross, manager of the Escondido branch.
