"Campbell Naismith of San Diego, who has begun a class for would-be bagpipe players in Escondido, tunes up his 75-year-old set for the edification of local fans. He wears all his regalia except one shoe and stocking. His ankle was injured in fall from cliff."

Daniela Carreon is alumna of California State University San Marcos, where she worked with the Cross-Cultural Center (CCC) and other student organizations such as MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Xicanx de Aztlán).
