"A portion of road that had been West Vista Way in Vista became a lake in the wake of the week-long downpour that deluged the area. The portion of road is at Lado de Loma, where road construction is being done".

"Physically handicapped tots get physical and occupational therapy at the California Avenue School in Vista Unified School District. Tots to age 4 are no now served by public schools are being sought for the County's federally funded Home-Oriented Preschool Education (HOPE) program".
