Her path to personal, and professional success wound its way through traditional immigrant struggles as well as gang violence. In this interview Dr. Ha discusses her families escape from Vietnam at the end of the Vietnam War, her childhood in the United States, her involvement around gangs, and her educational pathway.

Scope and Contents This work is a sculptural installation created in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. A trip to the grocery store will never be the same. Walking down aisle after aisle of empty shelves is something we have never before experienced. Panic has caused people to buy up supplies in bulk and hoard them, leaving other community members without. If only you could enter a store without wondering, will they have what I need? The food, supplies, toilet paper my family is out of? If only the shelves...
