Lacy, president (center), and John Raymond, general manager of Formulabs Industrial Inks, Inc. of Escondido, by R.A. Sherbo, purchasing services manager of RCA's Bloomington, Ind. facility. The award was for outstanding performances as a supplier for the first quarter of 1970, and was based on service, competitive price, and general performance. The firm has been in Escondido since 1953."

"John Hook makes his way along a steel beam in the rapidly rising structure on Grand Avenue and Escondido Boulevard that is the future home of Palomar Savings and Loan Association. The building is being constructed by Kitchell Contractors, Inc., of San Diego. Project superintendent is Norman W. Newman.
