The Ron Packard papers (1982-2001) documents the congressional activities of Ron Packard, a Republican Representative from California who served the 43rd District (1983-1993) and the 48th District (1993-2001) in the House of Representatives. The collection includes his political activities (e.g., speeches, letters, presentations, awards, and photographs) in the House of Representatives and on various subcommittees, from his 1982 campaign through his retirement in 2001.
Dr. Lotsee Patterson papers
Materials related to the advocacy, creation, and implementation of the Protocols for Native American Archival Materials, tribal libraries and librarianship, advocacy for tribal libraries, and Dr. Lotsee Patterson (Comanche). The Protocols are best practices, standards and goals for North American archives that steward materials related to Native Americans to commit to and implement culturally responsive care and use of Native American resources held by non-tribal organizations.
